Grade 9 Assembly: From Code to Distant Mountains
On Tuesday, September 23, the assembly kicked off with the Data Science Club making a flashy introduction: first a video presentation, then a detailed breakdown of computer science’s wonders and benefits. The club will also host competitions in the experiment classroom in ZXB B1.
Next came more club pitches. The Urban Aid Alliance helps students in remote places. This club will spend 1 week in Yunnan during summer holiday with students to support and help them. The high school Model UN (IAA) then captivated the audience with a heated discussion of the "Labubu Crisis" before sharing more about the club, then moving on to introduce their club’s activities, such as international fairs, etc.
The focus then shifted to a tutorial on using the SHSID mini-program for Sports Day, followed by a return to well-being with WellFit, a club dedicated to boosting physical and mental health.
The assembly wrapped up with recruitment from the High School Poster and Design Group and everyone received a lot of information on this morning.
