Puxi Campus G8: A Letter to Future Me

October 16, 2025

On October 16th, as autumn sunshine brightened the campus, Grade 8 students took a reflective pause from their busy routines to write heartfelt letters to their future selves. For many, this school year represents both a challenge and an opportunity— a time to grow, persevere, and redefine what it means to take responsibility and dream boldly.

During the Youth Development class, students were guided by their homeroom teachers, who provided meaningful prompts and writing frameworks to spark reflection. Across the room, pens danced quietly across paper: some students wrote about their goals and dreams, others looked back on moments of pride and regret, while many shared gentle reminders to their future selves— to stay brave, kind, and curious. The classroom atmosphere was serene yet deeply moving, filled with the sincerity of self-dialogue.

When finished, students signed and dated their letters before carefully handing them to their teachers for safekeeping. A year later, as graduates, they will read these words again— reliving the emotions, challenges, and hopes that marked this unique stage of youth.

This letter is not only a message to the future, but also a promise to oneself. May every Grade 8 student carry this reflection and courage forward, continuing to grow and discover their own light along the journey ahead.
