Pudong Campus: 2025 Sports Meet

On the afternoon of October 14th, under the cool sky, the SHSID Pudong Campus held its much-anticipated 2025 Annual Fall Sports Meet.


To the rhythm of lively music and energetic chants, each class proudly marched onto the field. Mr. Wu Xiaodong, Director of SHSID Pudong Campus, officially announced the opening of the Sports Meet and delivered an inspiring speech. He reminded students that sports are not only about winning medals but also about discovering who they are and how much they can grow through persistence. He said, "Every step you take, every throw, every game is a chance to practice a growth mindset— to enjoy the progress that comes from effort." Mr. Wu encouraged students to carry this same enthusiasm into their everyday lives— to play with joy, keep making the effort, and be proud of their steady improvement. He concluded by wishing all athletes good luck and inviting everyone to enjoy the games that afternoon.



Carol from Class 5-1 delivered an energetic and heartwarming speech on behalf of the students. With humor and confidence, she shared how sports have become part of her life and encouraged her peers to be brave, joyful, and full of spirit in every game.



Following the speeches, students performed rhythmic exercises and martial arts routines, showcasing their vitality and confidence. With waves of applause and cheers, the competitions officially began.


The Sports Meet featured a wide range of events, from classic races and long jumps to fun challenges such as "Stepping Stones" and the "Kangaroo Jump." Students raced, leapt, and laughed together, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and joy throughout the field.


The parent-child "Three-Legged Race" brought the Sports Meet to an exciting climax. Parents and children moved in perfect rhythm, sharing laughter and excitement as they celebrated the fun of sports together.



Amid laughter and cheers, the Pudong Campus Sports Meet came to a successful close. Students not only demonstrated perseverance and confidence on the field but also learned the power of teamwork and growth. Carrying this spirit forward, they will continue to stride boldly into the future, full of vitality and energy.
