Grade 12: Don't Topple the Forest

October 17, 2025

On the sunny afternoon of October 15, 2025, SHSID seniors gathered in the Zhongxing Building lobby to play the teambuilding game “Don’t Topple the Forest.” In this challenge, each student held a stick, releasing and grabbing the adjacent one on the referee’s “left” or “right” command. If one or more students do not manage to grab the next stick, then the team fails together—team success only comes from the individual success of everyone.

After early setbacks, each group of students collaborated on strategies and eventually mastered the coordination needed to win, making numerous excelling performances at the game. Some students further increased the difficulty of the game by introducing creative variations like angling or skipping a stick each move. Through the collective effort in the game, the students strengthened their teamwork and collaborative skills, exemplifying the importance of unity in group success.
