Representing SHSID Lin'gang Campus, Class 3-1 students Katherine and Ada delivered outstanding performances after multiple rounds of competition. Notably, Katherine and her father teamed up for the parent–child event, where their seamless coordination earned them an impressive third-place finish, bringing honor to the school.

The event featured a tight schedule and fierce competition. Katherine participated in the 200-meter, 500-meter, 1000-meter, and doubles events, demonstrating strong overall athletic ability and endurance. Ada focused on the women's 200-meter race, pushing herself in the sprint event.

In the parent–child event, Katherine and her father paddled side by side, creating a heartwarming scene on the water. The duo worked in perfect harmony, maintaining a steady rhythm and remarkable coordination throughout the race. Their teamwork and mutual trust reflected the strength of both effort and family bond. Together, they completed the race smoothly and proudly secured a third-place medal— an achievement that stands as a touching testament to their perseverance and connection.

Katherine also showcased her strong technique and resilience in the individual events. In the demanding women's 1000m race, she maintained her pace with composure, relying on the solid foundation built through consistent training to complete the course efficiently and steadily. She also performed impressively in the 200m and 500m races, giving her best in every heat. Meanwhile, Ada demonstrated excellent spirit in the women's 200m, pushing herself from start to finish with every stroke. Despite facing top-level competitors from across the country, she completed her race with grit and determination, earning the respect and applause of both judges and spectators.

The students' remarkable achievements were made possible by their dedication to daily training and the careful guidance of their coaches. Katherine and Ada's strong performances not only brought personal success but also embodied the Lin'gang Campus spirit of perseverance, teamwork, and courage. Their accomplishments are a vivid reflection of SHSID's commitment to integrating academics and athletics in holistic education. Building on its advantageous location and abundant water resources, SHSID Lin'gang Campus offers a distinctive kayaking program for second- and third-grade students.
