Mole Day: A Perfect Blend of Fun Challenges and Lab Safety

November 3, 2025

On October 30th, students gathered at the Zhongxing Building to celebrate the annual Mole Day. Mole Day is dedicated to honoring the concept of the mole, a fundamental unit in chemistry that represents 6.022 × 10²³ particles. As part of the celebration, participants had the opportunity to challenge themselves by navigating an obstacle course while carrying a full beaker. But the excitement didn’t stop there! Participants were also tasked with spotting potential lab safety violations in a series of staged photos. This fun and interactive activity aimed to raise awareness about lab safety while emphasizing the importance of proper conduct in scientific experimentation. This year’s Mole Day event perfectly combined fun, learning, and community spirit, providing students with a lively day to celebrate the wonders and charm of chemistry.
