Grade 10 Assembly: iNaturalist on Stage—Comedy Meets Taxonomy

On the morning of November 19, sophomore students from SHSID gathered in Zhongxing Building’s B1 Theater for their weekly grade assembly. After the host delivered the day’s announcments, the presentation segment officially began.


Sophia from class 7 delivered a uniquely engaging talk, presenting information on taxonomy and biological naming conventions, with particular emphasis on bug observation via platforms like iNaturalist. Unlike most assembly presentations, she used stand-up comedy with personal anecdotes and a lightedhearted tone to popularize wildlife observation. This creative presentation gave students a better understanding of biology and added a lively touch to the grade event.
