Academic Competition: Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad（SEAMO） Awards Winners

In late October 2025, our students participated in the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) either online or in their respective exam center.



The Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) was established in 2016 and is now a highly influential mathematics activity in the Asia-Pacific region. Every year, students from more than 20 regions participate. SEAMO was founded by Mr. Terry Chew, a renowned mathematics educator in Singapore. Mr. Chew, the first Singaporean to publish a series of Mathematics Olympiad books, has more than two decades of experience in teaching mathematics. His firm belief in Mathematical Olympiad thinking, which enhances students' innovative and critical thinking skills, is the cornerstone of SEAMO's educational value.


SEAMO has a well-established advancement system divided into a domestic Qualifying Round and an overseas Global Round. Students who win in the Qualifying Round will be invited to the SEAMO X Global Round.



A special shout out to the students from SHSID for their outstanding performance during the exam: they have won 7 National Gold, 10 National Silver, 6 National Bronze. 


Congratulations to all our award-winning students! We appreciate every student’s hard work and participation in this contest. May our students continue to demonstrate their excellence and sharpen their skills in the years to come, reaching for new heights of success!
