Grade 11 Assembly：The Journey of Latin Dance

On April 11, as the assembly time approached in the Xianmian Auditorium, the juniors entered the Annex punctually while sitting according to the seat requirements. Gloria from 11(1) came up to the stage to share her journey and experience in the world of Latin dance, which she had pursued ever since primary school.

She started by introducing how she first came to start taking Latin lessons and explained the main types of dances in international ballroom dance including two branches of Ballroom and Latin. Her experience in practicing, focusing on the basics, and participation in performances and competitions were further elaborated with the assistance of a myriad of photos. One interesting aspect of the presentation included her recent experience in the UK Ballroom Dance Festival, causing her to understand the disparities in different dance cultures. The physical and aesthetic aspects of Latin dancing has not only enhanced her physical fitness but also strengthened valuable disciplines of mental and physical perseverance.
