High School Students Receive the 14th Innovation Award for Shanghai Scientific Promotion and Education – Youth Science & Technology Motivation Award

The 2025 award ceremony of the 14th Innovation Award for Shanghai Scientific Promotion and Education was held on December 20, 2025. After nearly six months of application and selection, three high school students from Shanghai High School International Division stood out in this year’s competition, with one student receiving a First Prize and two students receiving Second Prizes.



The Innovation Award for Shanghai Scientific Promotion and Education was established by the Shanghai Science Education Development Foundation (SSEDF) to recognize and encourage excellence in science and to play a leading role in advancing scientific education. Among the awards, the Youth Science & Technology Inspiration Award is open to high school students across the city, with only ten recipients selected each year for their outstanding achievements in scientific and technological innovation.


SHSID has consistently integrated the cultivation of scientific and technological literacy into its entire educational process. The school emphasizes student interests as a guide and provides personalized mentoring along with diverse platforms to support continuous growth and innovative exploration in scientific inquiry. By fostering a strong culture of innovation and offering extensive opportunities for research projects, hands-on practice, and participation in competitions, the school inspires students’ passion for scientific research and nurtures their innovative potential.
