Academic Competition: Continental Math League (CML)

December 24, 2025

In late November 2025, our students participated in the Continental Math League (CML) either online or in their respective exam center.

Founded in 1980 by experienced math coaches Joseph Quartararo and Henry Hull, the Continental Mathematics League (CML) is designed to meet the diverse needs of students through engaging problem sets. To promote the importance of mathematics and encourage interschool exchange, CML also provides school rankings. Unlike highly selective math competitions, CML focuses on sparking students’ interest in mathematics and attracts nearly 70,000 students across the United States each year.

A special shout out to the students from SHSID for their outstanding performance during the exam: they have won 4 Perfect Score, 4 National Top 10, 18 National Gold, 16 National Silver, 12 National Bronze, 13 National Honorable Mention.

Congratulations to all our award-winning students! We appreciate every student’s hard work and participation in this contest. May our students continue to demonstrate their excellence and sharpen their skills in the years to come, reaching for new heights of success!
