SHSID Students Shined at 2025 Xuhui District Students Art Individual Competition

SHSID students delivered outstanding performances at recent 2025 Xuhui District Student Art Individual Competition, securing over a hundred awards in total. This achievement highlights SHSID's outstanding accomplishments in arts education, as well as the students' wide-ranging artistic interests and solid foundational skills across five categories.


Vocal Music

In the vocal music competition, 40 students achieved excellent results. Awards include 15 First Place Prizes (3 from the Primary School, 6 from the Middle School, and 6 from the High School), 19 Second Place Prizes (1 from the Primary School, 16 from the Middle School, and 2 from the High School), and 6 Third Place Prizes (4 from the Primary School, 1 from the Middle School and 1 from the High School).


Dance

Our dancers earned a total of 20 awards. These consist of 4 First Place Prizes (3 from the Middle School and 1 from the High School), 11 Second Place Prizes (10 from both the Primary and Middle Schools and 1 from the High School), and 5 Third Place Prizes (2 from the Primary School and 3 from the Middle School).


Piano

The piano competition yielded 17 awards for our students. Highlights include 8 First Place Prizes (3 for the Primary School, 3 for the Middle School, and 2 for the High School), 4 Second Place Prizes (2 for the Primary School and 2 for the Middle School), and 5 Third Place Prizes (2 for the Primary School and 3 for the Middle School).


Wind Ensemble

Our Wind Ensemble musicians earned honors for 15 students. The awards comprise 11 Second Place Prizes (4 for the Middle School and 7 for the High School) and 4 Third Place Prizes (3 for the Middle School and 1 for the High School).


String Orchestra

In the String Orchestra competition, students from our International Division earned a total of 8 awards. These include 5 Second Place Prizes (2 from the Primary School, 2 from the Middle School, and 1 from the High School) and 3 Third Place Prizes (1 from the Primary School, 1 from the Middle School, and 1 from the High School).


Congratulations to all our award-winning students! We look forward to witnessing more students explore, grow, and continue adding brilliance to our campus culture through their artistic pursuits.
