Appreciating Poetry, Music, and Dance, Savoring Chinese Culture — International Division Students Shine at the 2025 Shanghai Foreign Children’s School Student Showcase

Recently, in the 2025 “Appreciating Poetry, Music, and Dance, Savoring Chinese Culture” showcase at the Shanghai Foreign Children’s School, students from the Shanghai High School International Division delivered outstanding performances, using dance to convey the charm of Chinese culture. With their expressive artistry, the eight works submitted by the school received high praise from the judges, ultimately earning seven first prizes and one second prize.


This event was organized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and co-hosted by the Shanghai Educational Center of Science and Art and the Hongkou District Youth Activity Center. Through traditional artistic performances, the event provided an important platform for international youth in Shanghai to experience China’s rich cultural heritage and share China’s voice with the world.


The student dance performances submitted by the International Division of Shanghai High School showcased diverse themes and detailed choreography. These performances not only displayed respect for traditional Chinese art but also highlighted creativity and energy, reflecting the collective efforts of students and teachers in actively promoting Chinese culture through their actions.
