Academic Competition: 2025 UKMT Team Maths Challenge (TMC) Awards
In December, 2025, our students were doing their UKMT Team Maths Challenge (TMC) in Shanghai.
The United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) was established in 1996, aiming to enhance math education and foster problem-solving skills in young people. The Team Maths Challenge (TMC), organized by UKMT, is a team-based mathematics competition attracting about 20,000 participants in UK. The competition has a distinctive team problem-solving format, encouraging collaboration, math exploration, and skill/logical thinking development. Participants can enjoy maths fun and build deeper math insights and strategies through collaboration.

Students from our school achieved excellent results in all five award categories, namely the Group Round, Crossnumber Round, Shuttle Round, Relay Round and Overall Team Round. Additionally, 4 students qualified for the Global Finals (Senior High Division), and 8 students advanced to the Global Finals (Junior High Division).

Congratulations to all the award-winning students and a big thank you to every participant for their efforts in participating in the exam. We wish our students to continue to shine in various international assessments and to keep improving in the years to come!
