Lin'gang Campus: the Opening Ceremony of the Second Semester of 2025 Academic Year
Galloping into the Year of the Horse, the spring breeze ushered in a new semester at SHSID Lin’gang Campus. On the morning of March 2nd, teachers and students gathered for the Opening Ceremony, filled with warmth and anticipation for the journey ahead.

The ceremony began with a thoughtful retrospective video that carried everyone back through the highlights of the previous semester— the inventive spirit of the Science Fair, the imaginative creations of Math Week, the energy on the sports field the bravery shown during kayaking, and the confident voices at the Storytelling Competition. Each frame reflected the children’s growth and stirred warm memories among all who watched.

Lia from Class 1-1 spoke with genuine sincerity about her first steps into elementary school life. She discovered a love for exploration at the Science and Technology Festival, while navigating the challenges of making new friends— a journey filled with both joy and hesitation, piecing together the true picture of growing up. Joseph from Class 2-1 transformed into the "accountant" of Math Week, leading the audience back to the zoo built from dreams. Through numbers and teamwork, he uncovered something far more valuable than calculations— the secret code of collaboration— a lesson he will carry forward into new adventures this semester. Jasper Z from Class 3-2 stood on the stage as a 3rd grade student, speaking openly about the weight of growing up— academic challenges deepening, responsibilities increasing. In the routine of daily review, he discovered the value of persistence; in the expectations placed upon him, he came to understand accountability. His sincere appreciation and affection for the Lin’gang community drifted through the hall like a gentle spring breeze, quietly warming everyone in the audience.

The ceremony soared to its climax as the "Eight Stars" awards were announced. As the applause rang out, Katherine from Class 3-1 made her way to the stage to accept a well-earned honor— an outstanding achievement of four gold medals and one silver at the National Youth Kayak U-Series (Jiangle Station), bringing great pride to the Lin’gang campus.
Following the celebration, Jessica from Class 1-2 took the stage with a spirited dance, "Step into a New Dream." She spun and leaped like the very first bloom of spring. Then, Leon from Class 2-2 gently played "Antique Music Box." The tender notes drifted like moonlight, echoing softly in every heart.

Finally, Alice from Class 3-1 closed the ceremony with her rendition of "A Million Dreams." Her clear voice shimmered like morning light, sowing seeds of hope and ambition. May every child chase their dreams under their own starry sky— shine bright, and ride far.
