Computer Science Reading Salon: Sharing Insights and Fostering an Enthusiasm for Technical Literature
On Monday, March 23, at noon, SHSID high school successfully convened a Computer Science (CS) Reading Salon at Zhongxing B1 theater. Several student representatives nominated by the three grades were invited to share in-depth insights from their recent technical reading, fostering intellectual exchanges and infusing the campus with a robust academic atmosphere.

The activity featured three thematic sharing segments, offering diverse channels for expression and learning:
Book Treasure Hunt: Representatives selected core chapters from classic CS books, sharing their gains, insights, and intellectual sparks generated during the reading process, guiding the audience to appreciate the profound charm of technical classics.
Self-Learning Master: Students recounted their journeys of mastering new technologies through text-based materials such as technical documentation and online tutorials. They detailed self-directed learning pathways, practical operational tips, and solutions to challenges encountered, fully demonstrating exceptional self-learning capabilities.
Tech-Powered: Presenters showcased practical workflows leveraging digital tools, AI assistants, and professional note-taking software to enhance reading efficiency, empowering learning through technology and vividly illustrating the path to efficient reading in the digital era.
Through listening and interaction, the students not only acquired scientific reading methods and technical knowledge, but also further enhanced their enthusiasm for reading in computer science. This laid a solid foundation for their subsequent independent learning and project exploration.
