Grade 12 Activity: Words of Gratitude, Warmth in Every Letter
On March 18, 2026, SHSID’s Grade 12 students held an anonymous thank-you letter writing activity during CAS class, expressing sincere appreciation to teachers who have offered care and support in daily life and throughout the college application season.

Amidst the busy and critical period of college applications, teachers provided not only academic instruction but also thoughtful guidance in the form of essay revisions, interview preparation sessions, and emotional support, accompanying students through this important stage. During the activity, students wrote down simple yet heartfelt words to record teachers’ patience, encouragement, and dedication. All letters were collected and delivered by homeroom teachers anonymously, preserving the purity of gratitude and letting kindness reach each teacher gently.

Every word shows respect, and every letter carries warmth. This event strengthened the connections between teachers and students by inspiring students to practice gratitude and kindness; in doing so, it further reinforced the warm campus atmosphere where companionship and guidance are always appreciated and remembered.
