Grade 10 Assembly: Student Band “The Vacuoles” and Floorball Club Took the Stage

April 10, 2026

On the morning of April 8, all Grade 10 students gathered in the B1 Theater of Zhongxing Building for the semester’s grade-level morning assembly. The assembly featured a showcase by the student band “The Vacuoles” and a sharing session by the floorball club.

Our school's student band "The Vacuoles" introduced their planned "Music Corner" activity to teachers and fellow students, accompanied by a wonderful live performance. The band members briefly outlined the plans for the Music Corner, a student-initiated campus activity designed to provide a free but worthful stage for those passionate about music. Following the introduction, The Vacuoles—as the founding band of the project—delivered a carefully prepared musical piece. Despite the simplicity of the venue and equipment, the members' seamless coordination and dedicated performance allowed everyone present to genuinely feel the charm and potential of Music Corner. The Music Corner is scheduled to officially launch in the near future. The Vacuoles will also begin looking for musically inclined students on campus, eagerly hoping more music lovers will join in and add an exciting new chapter to school life.

At the same assembly, our school's SHSID Floorball Club announced its annual recruitment plan. Founded in 2022, the club has grown from its initial size to 33 members, spanning grades 8 through 12. Beyond its impressive roster, the club's competitive record is nothing short of outstanding: it has claimed first place in both the 2024 National Floorball Competition and the 2025 National U18 Floorball Competition. According to the club leader, these honors are the result of the members' constant training and seamless teamwork. The club is now open to all grade levels, eagerly welcoming new members to join in defending their championship legacy.

This morning assembly not only brought students the original music project of the student band “The Vacuoles,” but also showcased the fighting spirit of campus sports through the floorball club’s championship story.
