Art Exhibition Title: Pause and Drift - Oil Painting Exhibition

Location: SHSID Art Gallery (2nd floor, Art Center of SHSID)


We live in an era of rapid flux. Caught between pausing and wandering, Mr. Wang Tianhao, Ms. Zhang Jialin, and Mr. Chen Yifan—young art teachers of SHSID—have found their artistic anchors. All graduates of the Oil Painting Department at the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, they follow distinct creative paths yet share the same core vision, celebrating art and life through their work. In the classroom, they guide students in art; outside, they keep creating with brushes, staying true to their artistic pursuit. Mr. Wang Tianhao focuses on crowds, exploring existence through blurred figures and flowing forms, reflecting the modern soul's contradiction and longing for freedom. Ms. Zhang Jialin adopts realism, centering on hometown and daily life to capture warmth and poetry in ordinary moments. Mr. Chen Yifan's art has no fixed style; he lets emotions shape his works, forming unique atmospheric fields.


This exhibition is both a visual presentation and a heartfelt expression. May viewers pause, reflect, and meet the three educators—and themselves—amid colors and brushstrokes.
