Academic Competition: Awards in the 2026 Math Kangaroo Fun Math Thinking Activity

The results of the "2026 Math Kangaroo Fun Math Thinking Activity" held in March, 2026 were recently announced. Our school students demonstrated remarkable excellence in this activity and achieved outstanding results.



The Math Kangaroo Fun Math Thinking Activity was initiated by Australian mathematician PeterO'Halloran in 1980.In 1991, French mathematics educators officially established an organizing committee and promoted it in Europe. It was named in honor of Peter O'Halloran, and the global organizing committee is headquartered in Paris, France. Different from traditional math assessments,  this activity aims to stimulate children's interest and confidence in mathematics with interesting and life- related questions, cultivate mathematical thinking, and train the abilities of reading, understanding, analyzing, and solving problems. It is suitable for students of all grades and different math levels. Now, it has become a large- scale international math thinking activity for teenagers around  the world.It is hosted in 109 countries and regions globally, and aAbout 6.5 million students participated in 2025.



The awards for this activity are divided into global awards (Math Kangaroo Achievement Award) and China- specific awards (Super Gold Award, Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Math Skill Award). Relying on solid knowledge and excellent performance, our school students stood out among many contestants. They won 11 Math Kangaroo Achievement Awards, 52 National Super Gold Awards, 91 National Gold Awards, 76 National Silver Awards, 55 National Bronze Awards, and 38 Math Skill Awards. In addition, 186 students advanced to the Math Kangaroo Asian Camp; 5 students advanced to the Math Kangaroo Poland Camp.


Once again, congratulations to all the winning students in our school. We also thank every participant for their efforts, allowing us to share this honor. We wish our school students can showcase their best in various international assessment activities and continue to improve and reach new heigh-ts in the future!
