A Global Perspective for Students' Growth
On the morning of May 18, high school homeroom teachers and teachers from the student center, college counseling, teacher advisor, and STEAM offices attended a training session themed "A Global Perspective for Students’ Growth". Hosted by Principal Ma Feng, the training featured an online dialogue with Mr. Ted Liu, a former vice principal and college counselor at a large public high school in the United States.

During the sharing session, Mr. Ted Liu drew on his experience and introduced the school’s distinctive campus activities, personalized course selection, and college admission trends, focusing on key areas such as the school’s educational model, curriculum design, student development planning, and college counseling. In the interactive discussion that followed, attending teachers actively explored questions related to their own teaching practices, gaining valuable insights and broadening their perspectives.

At the conclusion of the training, Principal Ma, drawing on the actual context of our school's operations, guided the teachers to draw on advanced educational ideas and clarify the core direction of student development. This training adopted an international perspective, focusing on common issues in international education, and provided teachers with practical experiences worthy of reference and reflection. In the future, SHSID high school will continue to help teachers broaden their international education horizons, enrich their information base, and empower students' holistic development and long-term growth.
