2026 SHSID (Primary & Middle School) Piano Competition & Outstanding Players' Recital Has Successfully Concluded

The Piano Competition and Outstanding Players' Recital of the Shanghai High School International Division (Middle & Primary School) has successfully concluded. The event lasted four months and attracted nearly 200 students from all grades. All students expressed their youthful vitality through the piano.


Registration started during the winter vacation, and a large number of students signed up immediately. Contestants performed various works, ranging from classical sonatas by Beethoven and Chopin to modern piano pieces, each showing their personal understanding of music. After rounds of fierce competition, the judges selected the winners of the first, second, and third prizes. In the follow-up showcase, students performed a variety of Chinese and international piano works on stage. Their wonderful playing moved all teachers and students, and the event fully reflected the good results of the competition and the school's aesthetic education.

This activity offered a great platform for students to express themselves and collaborate with each other. It enriched our campus culture, promoted art education, helped students improve their artistic techniques, and enabled them to gain growth and confidence. Shanghai High School will continue to attach importance to arts education. We encourage students to grow and shine in art and enjoy the beauty of music on campus.
