5·25 "Love Yourself" Mental Health Day: A Heartwarming Celebration of Self-Care

May 26, 2026

To mark the national 5·25 Mental Health Day and promote the philosophy that “loving oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance,” our school hosted a special “Love Yourself” event at the ZXB B1 Atrium on May 25th. Co-organized by students and the Teacher Advisor Office, the immersive experience invited the entire school community to engage in emotional expression, self-dialogue, and relaxation.

The event featured three interactive zones, drawing enthusiastic participation from both teachers and students:

• Feel & Understand: Activities like emotion drawing, sand art, and pebble painting encouraged participants to express their inner worlds through creativity.

• Love Yourself: Highlights included the “Self-Care Label” activity, where people wrote their own “care instructions”; the “Self-Affirmation Mirror” for positive self-talk; and the student-led “Speak-Up Bowl,” a safe, anonymous space to share thoughts and feelings.

• Keep Your Balance: The zone offered balance ball challenges, wooden acrobat stacking games, and guided stretch sessions in the B1 Dance Studio, helping everyone reconnect with their physical energy and sense of stability.

Warmth and positive energy filled the atrium as teachers and students laughed, created, and connected. Every smile and every piece of art was a beautiful testament to the day’s spirit: taking care of oneself is the foundation of all well-being.
