Grade 9 Assembly: Prepare Students for the Upcoming Survival Training

During the Grade 9 assembly on May 19, Annike from class 9(3) started the session by sharing her personal travel stories and giving advice based on the different places she has visited. She advised students to bring extra sets of clothes and socks, and to wear long pants while hiking to protect themselves from bushes and bugs. She also warned the students about the weather, which would be very hot during the day but cold at night. Because of this, everyone needs to pack warm jackets, hats, and heat-tech shirts and pants to stay warm when sleeping.



Next, Ms. Chen took over the stage to announce behavior and schedule rules. The advice and reminders from Annike and Ms. Chen were duly noted and the students are already looking forward to the valuable shared experience. Beyond the packing tips and curfews, the assembly built a shared sense of discipline and mutual care, reminding students that survival in the wild starts with respect for rules and nature.
