Grade 10: Assembly - Love for Art

On March 27, Sandy Zhang from Class 10(1) gave a presentation about his interests and skills. First, Sandy talked about his experience of singing. From elementary school, he participated in the school choir. He shared his story of overcoming his voice alterations due to puberty, actively participating in many different singing activities and ending up winning many awards. Sandy also performed a song in the lecture hall for all the students and teachers, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room.

Next, Sandy talked about his interest in drawing, which he started at a very young age and persists still today. When he was young, he learned traditional Chinese painting at first; then, as he confirmed his interest in art, he began trying more and more art forms. Sandy also brought his interest to the students at Hongmei Elementary School and he is enthusiastic to pursue this interest as his future major. He encouraged his peers to find out their passion and put real effort into it.
