Lin’gang Campus: Children’s Day
The June sun shone bright and warm; the campus filled with waves of laughter. On this special day dedicated to children, students and teachers from Grades 1 to 3 at SHSID Lin'gang Campus gathered together to celebrate with songs, piano music, and dance.
The choir opened the performance with "Greetings of the Four Seasons." Their clear, pure voices were like a gentle spring breeze, softly telling stories of warmth and emotion as the seasons turn. With bright smiles, the children immersed the entire hall in the embrace of music.

Next, the dance club presented the lively and joyful "Happy Little Horse." Like a group of galloping ponies, they leaped and spun across the stage. Their energetic yet innocent steps brought out the vitality and spirit of childhood, drawing wave after wave of applause and cheers from the audience.

Two young pianists who stood out at the 2026 Shanghai High School Piano Competition also delivered wonderful performances. Sophia from Class 3-2 was the first to take the stage, playing the classic "Turkish March." Her smooth technique and confident demeanor earned warm rounds of applause. Then, Riemann from Class 2-2 performed "Come Dance With Me." The light and playful notes dancing beneath his fingers seemed to invite the whole audience to join in the fun.

Children from the dance elective class then stepped onto the stage with their teacher to present a beautiful traditional Chinese dance called "Little Boat Song." Dressed in flowing costumes, they moved with grace and elegance. Every gesture carried the charm of classical Chinese dance – now bowing their heads softly, now raising their long sleeves. Their graceful performance drew constant admiration from the audience.

After the wonderful performances, the children enjoyed the most anticipated moment of relaxation. Each child received a box of fragrant popcorn. Holding their boxes, they sat together and watched a heartwarming and fun movie. Amid the flickering light and shadows, laughter filled the air. The sweet popcorn and the joyful film brought the Children's Day celebration to a lighthearted and happy conclusion.

In the songs, we hear the beauty of the four seasons; in the dances, we feel the joy of childhood; in the piano music, we sense the dedication behind every note; and in the movie, we see pure, smiling faces. This Children's Day, the children of Lin'gang Campus shone on stage and found simple happiness on the screen. May every child grow up healthy and joyful, surrounded by love and companionship.
