Blaze Up Your Youth: Rope Skipping Craze Sweeps Grade 11 Campus

April 3, 2026

In early Spring, Grade 11 students have been engaging in Skipping during their morning P&B period, and some intense yet friendly competition has sprung up between classes.

The first type of jump rope that students engaged with was long rope jumping, which trains students' ability to cooperate and helps foster a team spirit of working together toward a common goal.

The second type was individual speed jump roping, which tests individual jump roping and athletic abilities. It challenged students' skills and speed, cultivating a spirit of friendly competition as well as the perseverance to keep training and strive for better results.

Notably, the competitions were not just limited to these two variations. Students utilized their imagination and creativity to incorporate other moves beyond ordinary rope jumping, such as fancy tricks, making the sport more varied and exciting.

Overall, students practiced with enjoyment, providing the best possible training and preparation for the upcoming cross-grade rope jumping competition.
