History and Geography Department: Grade 9 and 10 Geography and Chinese Interdisciplinary Project

This semester, in their 9th and 10th-grade geography classes, students created informational posters that combined the distribution and historical evolution of Shanghai’s rivers with knowledge of the Shanghainese dialect. These posters not only allowed viewers to intuitively read maps and captions to learn about the rivers, but also enabled them to scan QR codes to listen to explanations in Shanghainese. 


One by one, the “Pu,” “Jing,” “Tang,” “Bing,” and “Wan” were vividly brought to life, flowing into people’s hearts along with the stories behind them.
