Academic Competition: Notice of Awards in 2026 mini Math Tournament at Berkeley

The results of the "2026 mini Math Tournament at Berkeley" held in May, 2026 were recently announced. Our school students demonstrated remarkable excellence in this activity and achieved outstanding results.



(mini) Math Tournament at Berkeley (BmMT) is organized by the mathematics club from UC Berkeley open to all middle school students. BmMT promotes academic development of junior high school students by offering fun team challenges and emphasizes integrity to foster teamwork, with the aim to provide a comprehensive, pleasant, educational mathematics learning opportunities for students.


BmMT is committed to bringing the original American-style math group activities to China. By virtue of colorful activities, math knowledge is no longer confined to traditional classroom content. The attractive math learning method stimulates students' interest and release their potential in mathematics. In addition, BmMT makes the frontier mathematical ideas more interesting through the simple and easy propositions. A variety of social activities integrates different mathematics majors in university and expands students' mathematics vision, further strengthening their passion for mathematics. What's more, the team rounds experience contributes to the team spirit cultivationto and help students more adaptable in math social network.



A special shout out to our students for their outstanding performance at 2026 mini Math Tournament at Berkeley: they have won 1 third prize, 1 fifth place, 16 Gold Awards, 8 Silver Awards, 7 Bronze Awards, and 15 Honorable Mentions in the Individual Round; 5 eighth places, 5 tenth places, 20 Gold Awards, 10 Silver Awards, and 5 Bronze Awards in the Puzzle Round; 5 second prizes, 10 fifth places, 25 Gold Awards, 15 Silver Awards, and 5 Bronze Awards in the Team Round; 5 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 5 sixth places, 20 Gold Awards, 5 Silver Awards, 15 Bronze Awards, and 10 Honorable Mentions in the Relay Round, and 5 third prizes, 5 fifth places in the Overall Team Category.


Congratulations to all our award-winning students! We appreciate every student's hard work and participation in this contest. May our students continue to demonstrate their excellence and sharpen their skills in the years to come, reaching for new heights of success!
