Middle and Primary School MPCT: Summer Training: Roots & Wings for New Teachers

To help new teachers quickly familiarize themselves with the teaching environment, master teaching skills, and clarify their career development direction, the MPTC successfully held a two-day summer training for new teacherson August 23–24, 2026, in the West Campus Teaching Building. This training aimed to lay a solid foundation for the new teachers' educational careers through systematic guidance and practice.


The training content was rich and closely aligned with the actual needs of new teachers. On the morning of the first day, the training focused on "School History and Campus Culture." Through interactive icebreaker games involving teacher self-introductions, a special session on school history and campus culture, and watching a school anniversary video, the new teachers quickly integrated into the school family and gained an understanding of the school's fine traditions and rich heritage. In the afternoon, the training delved into "School Rules and Class Management." The new teachers carefully studied the Student Guidebook, and engaged in case analysis, group discussions, and sharing on school rules and class management, effectively enhancing their classroom management skills and ability to handle unexpected situations.



On the morning of the second day, the highlight of the training was the "Classroom Teaching Special Session." New teachers were divided into groups and drew lots to discuss and prepare around preset topics. They then selected representatives to share key discussion points and conducted peer evaluations. Everyone actively took notes andoffered thoughtful feedback, laying a solid foundation for mastering more effective teaching methods and classroom regulation techniques. In the afternoon, all new teachers conducted trial teaching sessions for their "first lesson." In a simulated classroom environment, each teacher gave a trial lesson, engaged in self-reflection, and received peer feedback afterward. This real-scenario trial teaching not only tested the results of the previous training but also exercised the new teachers' psychological resilience and on-the-spot teaching performance.



The training concluded with a briefing on requirements before the start of the semester and the early weeks of the term, and the new teachers completed their training summaries. This summer training provided a valuable platform for new teachers to learn and exchange ideas. It not only imparted teaching theories and practical experience but also conveyed the school's high expectations and support for its new teachers. We believe that, having been refined by this training, these new teachers will devote themselves to education and teaching with greater enthusiasm and more professional competence, contributing their strength to the school's development and jointly writing a beautiful chapter in the cause of education.
