Computer Science Department Held Online Teaching Research Meeting

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, AI education has become a growing focus in K-12 education worldwide. International curricula increasingly emphasize the development of students' computational thinking and digital literacy, encouraging schools to leverage high-quality online platforms to translate cutting-edge technology into actionable classroom learning experiences. In line with this trend, the Computer Science Department is actively exploring AI teaching approaches suited to our students, striving to spark their curiosity and innovation through authentic, hands-on contexts.


On August 31, the Computer Science Department held an online teaching research meeting, focusing on classroom application cases and potential directions for further exploration of an online programming learning platform.


During the meeting, Mr. Yuan first shared his teaching practice in the "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" module of the Grade 6 computer science course. Starting from the overall curriculum framework, he elaborated on how to design progressive learning tasks using the platform, how to efficiently manage the bulk distribution of student accounts, and how to leverage platform data to conduct diversified assessments of students' learning processes and outcomes. Mr. Yuan's presentation combined theoretical reflection with concrete classroom examples, providing a clear reference framework for all participating teachers. The department then engaged in a lively discussion around the theme of "integrating online learning platforms as a pedagogical tool and format into classroom instruction." Teachers explored further integration possibilities from the perspectives of different grade levels and course types, generating many inspiring ideas.



This meeting laid a solid foundation for subsequent practice. Moving forward, teachers will actively apply the platform in their own classrooms, accumulate and develop more vivid teaching cases.
