Grade 10: A New Beginning with Honor

September 1, 2026

On the afternoon of August 31, the campus, quiet throughout the summer, came alive once again. Grade 10 students walked through the school gates with anticipation. After picking up their new textbooks in their classrooms, each homeroom teacher first went over the new semester's schedule, classroom expectations, and daily routines, helping students ease back into school life and adjust to the rhythm of the new academic year. Following that, they gathered in the Zhongxing Building Theater for a concise yet dignified award ceremony to mark the start of the new semester.

The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Chen Lin, Head of Grade 10. Awards presented included the Good Behavior Award, the Academic Progress Award, and subject-specific honors, recognizing students' efforts and growth in conduct, academic performance, and disciplinary excellence over the past academic year. In addition, special certificates of appreciation were presented to students who volunteered during the IMO over the summer, in recognition of their dedication and outstanding service. Recipients took the stage one by one to warm applause from their peers. More than a recognition of achievement, the awards served as a guide for the way forward — each honor bore witness to the students' consistent dedication and personal breakthroughs.

The ceremony was both a heartfelt reflection on past efforts and an eager look ahead to the journey of growth in the new semester. May every Grade 10 student carry an upward spirit through the coming year, move forward with curiosity, and shine through perseverance.
