Grade 10 CAS: Sports, Teamwork, Growth
On the afternoon of Wednesday, September 2, Grade 10 students kicked off the new semester's CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) program with a rich and varied afternoon of activities. Held in homeroom classrooms and on the B1 level of Zhongxing Building, the event transformed everyday academic spaces into vibrant arenas of friendship and friendly competition.
The classroom activities consisted of three segments. During the grouping session, students formed teams within their classes, quickly breaking the ice through self-introductions and conversation. During the sports meet preparation session, students completed event registration and launched cheerleading choreography plans, getting ready for the various competitions during Sports Week in October. Throughout the classroom activities, each class also played relaxing videos selected by the school's psychology teachers as a way to unwind and recharge.

Students then moved to the B1 level for fun sports activities. At the tug-of-war station, everyone worked together to set up the equipment, fasten the central buckle, and adjust their safety belts. Once the signal sounded, the matches began, and the rope snapped taut in an instant. Cheers erupted from all sides, with smiles and shouts embodying both enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The long rope jumping area was equally lively, as students stayed focused on the rhythm of the swinging rope, encouraging one another and finding both physical and mental relaxation after a day of classes.

This event was more than just a collision of physical energy and creativity. It helped students deepen their understanding of one another and strengthen interpersonal skills through collaboration. May the strength forged in sweat and laughter accompany Grade 10 students as they move forward together and grow side by side in the new school year.
