Grade 9 Assembly: Writing Center Introduction
On September 22, Ms. Xu Dan hosted a Grade 9 assembly at Zhongxing Theatre introducing the Writing Center and the support it offers to students.
The Writing Center consists of English teachers who are willing to assist students in editing and developing their essays. Mr. van Hoorn, a member of the Writing Center team, was invited to explain the application process and the specifics of the program.

The Writing Center is not only open to those who have finished their writing, but also welcomes students seeking constructive ideas to build on. The program hopes to help students improve their writing and lay a solid foundation for those interested in literary careers.
Finally, Mr. van Hoorn also mentioned that the Writing Center is currently hosting a poetry competition and encouraged students to enter.
Over this school year, students will have many opportunities to hone their writing skills with the assistance of the Writing Center and explore the limitless possibilities of writing. Go and make good use of this school resource!
