Lin'gang Campus: September Assembly
On September 29, Grade 3 students and teachers at SHSID Lin'gang Campus held their September Assembly in the small theater. Grade 3 Supervisor Ms. Shen Jingfeng led the children in reviewing the month's highlights.
The fire drill video brought back memories of interacting with firefighters. The Mid-Autumn Festival fair and the 2026 National Youth Kayak U-Series Competition (Shanghai · Chongming Station) also came to life on screen. The children marveled at how rich September had been.

Ms. Shen then introduced the month's CME themes: travel safety, school safety, and internet safety. Two students from each class shared their takeaways. Oona (3-1) spoke on school bus safety; Ethan (3-1) shared safety tips from home that matched school lessons. Benny (3-2) used "Stop, See, Speak" to remind everyone to stop, observe, and seek help. Amos (3-2) focused on internet safety when using iPads and computers.

Finally, teachers announced the Monthly Star, Sports Star, and Music Star based on students' performance. Some won for focus and participation, others for effort in sports or music. As winners received their honors, applause filled the theater. The recognition celebrated their efforts and encouraged others.

September ended with reflection and sharing. With safety knowledge and joy, Grade 3 is ready for October.
