SHSID Student Excelled at the Winter Games Showcasing Outstanding Style

At the 14th Chinese National Winter Games held in Inner Mongolia from February 17th to the 27th, 2024, our student Zion Wang represented the Hong Kong SAR youth men's ice hockey team and demonstrated commendable performance in ice hockey competitions.

As the captain of the Hong Kong SAR boys’ ice hockey team, Zion Wang played as a forward and showcased remarkable courage and competitiveness. In the first game, he scored two goals, contributing to Hong Kong's opening triumph with two consecutive wins. After intense placement matches, the Hong Kong team ultimately achieved a historic fifth-place finish. We warmly congratulate Zion Wang on his outstanding achievement and look forward to his continued progress and greater breakthroughs in the coming World Championships.

Since the completion and opening of the ice rink at the Zhongxing Building in 2021, various ice-skating courses on campus have been vigorously carried out, igniting students' continuous enthusiasm for winter sports. Looking ahead, we look forward to more students finding their own stage in the sports field and experiencing the fun and challenges brought on by sports.
