Grade 9 Assembly: Activities in a Law Firm

At the beginning of the new semester, ninth-grade students welcomed their first assembly on February 27. Teresa Zhao from Class 9(7) came up the stage to share her winter break experiences. Out of curiosity and passion, Teresa, along with a few other students, participated in an activity called Dream Job Lawyers for five days. On the first day, the students learned how to professionally search for various legal provisions and read legal documents, and they even experienced two rounds of mock commercial mediation, immersing themselves in the challenging yet rewarding discussion process. In the following days, they learned about commercial affairs etiquette, data compliance, and many more.

"After this internship," Teresa remarked, "I gained a deeper understanding of what it means to 'do law.' Moreover, I also made many new friends and acquired various skills." After hearing about such interesting winter break experiences, more ninth-graders are looking forward to acquiring practical career experience beyond school and finding their passion along the way.
