Puxi Campus G5: New Year’s Carnival

January 3, 2024

The teachers and students of Grade 5 held a New Year’s carnival on December 28th, which brought an abundance of happiness to the students. Each class, including ASB members, prepared a game, so that the students had a variety of games and activities to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.

Some classes set up a ping-pong game. The students waited in line, throwing ping-pong balls into a basket one by one. The students continuously adjusted the intensity and angles of the shot, hoping to accurately hit the target. Everyone cheered after someone made a shot, intensifying the joyful atmosphere.

The fifth grade ASB members also organized two activity booths. One booth was designed as a station to create DIY crafts. Here, the students made small bracelets or cut beautiful window flowers by hand. The other booth hosted loop games, which were equally popular amongst the students. The interesting activities were enjoyed by all.

The whole carnival activity was charged with a happy New Year atmosphere. The students enjoyed themselves by playing the myriad of games, relaxed away from the intense learning pressures, and enhanced communication and friendship amongst themselves. Additionally, the students learned the ability of teamwork, thinking and hands-on practice in the games, and spent a happy and meaningful New Year time.
