Social Sciences Department: Professional Development on Growth

On the morning of December 27, the teachers of the Social Sciences Department carried out the professional development activities at Xianmian Building after the collective activity of the "Little Grass Cup" forum. The activity was hosted by Ms. Zhang Li, the head of the department. Upon the arrival of the new year, the teachers in the group knew each other better by sharing their insights, gains and achievements in teaching and life, exchanging interesting stories and growth on campus since they joined SHSID, and let several new teachers in the group feel the warm yet rigorous atmosphere of the department.

Subsequently, Ms. Zhang invited everyone to brainstorm about social science activities and courses, and made suggestions for various traditional or innovative activities in the coming year. At the end of 2023, the teachers reviewed the past and cast their eyes toward future. They will keep developing their subject specialties and pursue excellence in the spirit of student-centered teaching, so as to help students to grow in the fields of economics, business, psychology, law and other social sciences.
