G3 | Lin'gang Campus: Embrace the New Year

At the end of the year, the semester is drawing to a close. What has 2023 brought, and what are the expectations for 2024? On December 19th, the G3 students at Lingang Campus turned the page to the last month of the calendar, to reflect on the wonderful moments of the semester, and to welcome the joy of the New Year together.

The English teachers first introduced the importance of December in Western culture. The month of December includes Christmas, which is the biggest holiday for them. The students also learned about the origin of the holiday by watching a video story and playing a crossword puzzle to find all the elements of the holiday. Afterwards, the Chinese teachers also took them back to the wonderful moments of this semester, including the hard work in the Sports Meet of September, the intense concentration in preparing for the midterm exams in October, the sound of reading books in the classroom, the reckless chasing on the playground during breaks and etc. This semester has been full of many interesting and unforgettable moments. As the children looked back to this semster, they wrote down their expectations for the New Year on the paper, using it to express their outlook on their school life in the coming year.
