Grades 9-10: Job Shadow Day Career Exploration in the Computer Direction

On the afternoon of December 6, 2023, students from Grades 9-10 interested in computer-related careers visited and studied at Ctrip headquarters under the guidance of their House Program mentors and homeroom teachers.

Students first learned about the history about the company. Then the students went to watch Ctrip's laboratory and saw all the real-time purchases of plane and train tickets, hotel reservations, online customer service, and so on. Finally, Ctrip employees gave a lecture to the students, giving some guidance on future directions for those interested in computer-related careers, including what kind of people computer companies would want to recruit, what knowledge students needed to gain at the current stage, and how to plan for the future. The students all felt that this experience of visiting a company brought them a lot and was significant.
