Puxi Campus G8 | Basketball Competition
The grade 8 annual basketball competition was scheduled to start as the weather turned colder and autumn deepened. The 1st round took place on November 20th. After several rounds of intense competition, the top four teams of the grade emerged. They were classes 8-1,8-9,8-10, and 8-11. Finally, on the afternoon of November 30th, during the YD class, all the grade 8 students gathered at the outdoor basketball court, cheering for the final classes.
The competition was about to start. First, the match for third place and fourth place took place between 8-9 and 8-10. Then, the championship and runner-up match unfolded fiercely between 8-1 and 8-11. Every player performed with great effort, striving to bring glory to their class. When the ball was thrown or a fierce attack was blocked, cheers erupted both on and off the field. The successive friendly matches between the teachers and students ignited the highest point of the whole venue, with both the players and the spectators fully immersed in the fervent atmosphere of the game.
As the final results were announced, class 8-1 emerged as the champions, while 8-11 and 8-10 claimed the 2nd place and 3rd place respectively. All the participants and attendees were fully engrossed in the lively sporting atmosphere.
The vitality of youth and the spirit of sports were shown on the basketball court on campus. We believe that this experience of athletic collaboration will bring a cherished memory to everyone in Grade 8.
