Grades 9-10: Peer Advisor Midterm Review
On October 25, 2023, during the Wednesday CAS class, the 9th and 10th grade subject representatives presented a unique activity for their classmates. They acted as teachers and gave a series of lectures for the upcoming midterm exams.
The main purpose of this review activity was to help students have a better understanding on the knowledge and concepts, mainly focusing on what they have learned during the past two months. It helped the students to better prepare and review for their upcoming midterm exams. For the 9th-grade students who have just entered high school, the lectures mainly focused on knowledge sorting and application which can help the freshmen to build up a clearer mind.

The 10th graders prepared more diverse courses, which made the atmosphere of the lecture more rigorous. For example, in the explanation of microeconomics, many charts and graphs were explained in detail, and the logical relationship between economic theory and real data was also clarified. The student tutor pointed out the key points and shared the special review methods they used, helping peers to review in a more effective way.
During the lecture, the student tutors actively interacted with the students, guiding them to further deepen the understanding of knowledge and boosting their confidence. Good luck to everyone in the midterm exams!
