Grade 12 Assembly: Intro to Sketching Academy Class

On October 27, the seniors gathered in the Xianmian Annex to attend the morning assembly. Daniel from Class 9 introduced the Sketching Academy class that he and Celine created. Sketching, Daniel suggested, is a great hobby because it is beginner-friendly, is the fastest way to build drawing abilities, and requires common easy-to-find materials like pen and paper.

The Sketching Academy class takes place during 4th period every Wednesday and also has other opportunities like trips to sketch locale around the city.

Daniel encouraged students to join this Academy class because it’s a great way to relax, expand one's imagination, and learn a new skill. By capturing moments of life, sketching develops the artist’s observation and artistic abilities.
