Puxi Campus G8 | Tug-of-war
The pleasant October weather set the stage for an extraordinary tug-of-war competition. During 8th grade YD class on October 12, the tug-of-war competition was organized near the Zhen Tao Building. Eight players from each of the 13 classes were selected to make up the teams.
As the referee's whistle shattered the silence, it signaled the beginning of the competition. The team members firmly grasped the sturdy rope, with both feet planted firmly on the starting line, ready to face their opponents. Everyone worked together and pushed backward. Tight rope slowly tilted to one side, which signed the most intense phase coming. Sweat had long been glistening on the foreheads and cheeks of the team members, and their eyes were full of determination and perseverance. Around the field, the spectators shouted and cheered for the teams they supported, and the cheers resounded like thunder throughout the field of play.

In the end, the competition comprised four rounds, and the top two winning teams were 8-11 and 8-2.
Furthermore, the event included a special teacher versus student challenge. Amidst the enthusiastic cheers, the teachers showed a different side of themselves. Through the team-building activities, the bond between teachers and students grew stronger, and it was filled with fun and excitement.

Throughout this competition, both the audience and participants have felt the spirit of sportsmanship. At the same time, they cultivated a sense of teamwork, and enhanced friendship. We expect that the teachers and students will bring more vigor and excitement in all kinds of upcoming activities !
