Chinese Oral Presentation Activity - Interesting Animals
On October 10th, the second-grade Chinese language class of Puxi campus held a lively and interactive oral communication activity during their Chinese presentation class.

The theme of this activity was "Interesting Animals," and the children's meticulous presentations filled the classroom with bursts of laughter. Some kids started with riddles, and the audience listened attentively, guessing the answers. Some children teased the audience by giving hints but not revealing the animal until the end. The listeners' minds raced as they eagerly raised their hands to share their guesses. Some students prepared a variety of props, wearing masks or headpieces, and carrying dolls, which added much fun to their presentations. Others choreographed entire routines, imitating monkeys reaching for the moon or kangaroos boxing, captivating the audience with their lifelike performances and eliciting hearty laughter.

Not only did the speakers have tasks, but the listeners also needed to practice the good habits of listening attentively and thinking critically. The teachers encouraged the audience to express their thoughts after listening to the presentations by giving positive feedback, providing suggestions and asking questions. This allowed everyone to express their thoughts and ideas. This mutual evaluation served as a driving force for the children's continuous improvement.
We sincerely hope that the Chinese classroom can be a place where children can express themselves boldly and fully, sparking their limitless potential for expression within the limited space. The second-grade students, through this classroom activity, undoubtedly felt the artistry and charm of Chinese expression!
