Thirty Years of Brilliance, Building Dreams Worldwide — The High School Section Celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Shanghai High School International Division

On September 28, 2023, marking the 30th anniversary of Shanghai High School International Division, high school students and teachers gathered in the teaching buildings to engage in a series of exciting celebration activities, filling the campus with a festive atmosphere.

Within the campus, the Xianmian Building and Zhentao Building had already been adorned with vibrant decorations by the high school students. Various commemorative items creatively designed by students, carrying heartfelt blessings for SHSID, were also displayed in the hallways of the Xianmian Building and Zhentao Building, and distributed to every student and teacher who arrived.

Inside classrooms, each class had meticulously organized a variety of celebration activities. Some wrote sincere messages of congratulations to SHSID on its 30th anniversary, expressing their deepest love and best wishes for the school. Others enjoyed the flavor of exquisite 30th-anniversary mooncakes. Students also captured the beautiful scenery of different places on campus, created puzzles, and pieced together beautiful pictures on the school anniversary. Joy could be seen on everyone's faces, and the ambience was extraordinarily lively and delightful.

On the lawn outside Zhentao Building, a lively club exhibition of 9th and 10th graders took place, allowing students to showcase their club activities and share their joy on the 30th-anniversary celebration day. In the Annex Auditorium of Xianmian Building, 11th and 12th graders, along with their teachers, gathered together for a series of splendid performances and exciting raffle activities, keeping the entire audience in high spirits with thunderous applause. The group performance by teachers of the 11th and 12th grades with songs like "Friends" and "Truly Love You" moved the students deeply, and Principal Ma's rendition of "Love Is Just a Word" brought the atmosphere to its climax.

Finally, in the Annex Auditorium of Xianmian Building and the Lecture Hall of Zhentao Building, all teachers and students gathered together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of SHSID with cake-cutting and the singing of birthday songs. The three-tiered birthday cake was substantial, symbolizing the solid love that teachers and students hold for SHSID. As they lit candles in the shape of "30", everyone simultaneously said, "Happy Birthday, SHSID", conveying their expectations and aspirations for the school's brilliant future.

Thirty years of seeking truth and striving hard; thirty years of enduring challenges and supporting each other; thirty years of unwavering dedication and forging ahead. Time flies, and SHSID has already traversed thirty glorious years, bearing fruits of success. Throughout these thirty years, SHSID has consistently prioritized students' lifelong development and promoted a comprehensive international perspective, creating a platform for personalized growth and long-term development for both teachers and students. Here, we sincerely wish SHSID a happy birthday and look forward to writing a new chapter together!
