Grade 7 ASB Election

The ASB election has always been a major event in each grade every school year and is noticed by a wide range of students. During YD class on the afternoon of September 21st, G7 students gathered in the Xian Mian auditorium for the highly anticipated ASB election campaign.

That afternoon, the Xian Mian auditorium was full. As the students waited for the start of the campaign with excitement, the faces of the 26 candidates revealed nervousness and excitement. Each candidate faced atremendous challenge as theywere tasked with showing their strength and talent in just under 3 minutes. As the Grade 7 Supervisor announced the official start of the campaign, the first candidate walked onto the stage amidst applause and cheers. The candidates' speeches were unique, covering academic performance, personal strengths, understanding of ASB's responsibilities, and what they could do for their classmates. Some candidates mobilized the atmosphere with humor, some impressed the students with real examples, and the confidence and determination they showed in their speeches affected everyone in the audience. In addition, the enthusiastic response from the audience also made the whole campaign speech unforgettable.

After a fierce competition, 16 students were finalized to be elected as ASB members, they are 7（1）Sunny, 7（2）Stephanie, 7（3）John, 7（4）Isabella & Alex, 7（5）Isabel, 7（6）Anita & Jessica, 7（7）Leonel & Oscar, 7（8）Elaine, 7（9）Nathan, 7（10）Vivienne, 7（11）Kiki, and 7（12）Chris & Sammi. These ASB members will be organizing more exciting activities for the students in the coming year, and we believe that the 7th grade students will shine even brighter under their leadership, so let's look forward to it together!
