Art Exhibition: Fire of Firewood - SHSID Students’ Printmaking Exhibition with the Theme of Lu Xun

Dates: Sept. 10th, 2023 – Oct. 22nd, 2023

Location: Shanghai Lu Xun Museum. No. 200 Tianai Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai

Printmaking creates images with a unique sense of power, which was also a tool used by Mr. Lu Xun to awaken the soul of the Chinese people.

The creators of this exhibition's works are middle school and high school students of SHSID. The exhibition showcases over 30 works, divided into three series: Mr. Lu Xun's portrait series; Chinese and foreign mythology series, which includes relevant content in Lu Xun's novels; print creation for self-portrait series.

Through this exhibition, we hope that more students can develop an interest in traditional culture, have a deeper understanding of Mr. Lu Xun's aesthetic education philosophy, and confidently demonstrate their strengths.
