Grade 10: Assembly — New Start

On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the tenth-grade students gathered in the lecture hall of the Zhentao Building to attend the first assembly of their sophomore year. As the chatters eventually died down, the tenth-grade head teacher, Ms. Yu, began presenting her announcements. In order to enrich students' horizons and provide more possibilities for exploration, the school offers Module 3 courses for sophomores, including a range of PBL, Academy, and R-TEW courses. Ms. Yu encouraged all students to make their choices carefully based on the information from the previous day's lectures and their own interests. A very exciting part of the rich extracurricular activities at SHSID is the wide range of clubs that are self-organized and run by students. Under the guidance of the school's teachers, these clubs play their own young, enthusiastic, and powerful parts in a variety of fields. At the assembly, students representing various clubs presented a plethora of club activities and launched a recruitment for all students.

With applause, the first assembly of the semester came to a successful conclusion.
